The evc logo mark is designed to represent a closed circuit. A closed circuit is one that allows energy to flow freely through it. This idea is expressed visually by the inclusion of a + and - which combine into one functional mechanism. To further emphasize this feeling of cyclical energy the mark is encased in an outer circle which allows it to applied legibly on multiple different colors as helping optically define the two signs within the mark.
